Time really flies... I tried to check my old postings here, I found that those were so old... Now, I already graduated from graduate school, and began to work for weeks. Although the work is still uncertain, but I am doing things now. Comparing to what I was before I came to the U.S., I really don't know how much I grew up. Academically, I think my English is a lot better than I used to be, and I now can even be a tourist guide... My friends from Taiwan, if you are here and need a guide anytime, please let me know.
Not knowing whether anyone will be love to read my articles... I do want to put whatever I've learned here in the U.S. on this blog, and maybe share my experience to you.
I think I will start from the experience of being a tutor, especially in here. I used to be a private tutor in Taiwan for years, and I usually call them "easy money" since I do not actually need to prepare and I can make like $20 an hour. However, things are different here. First of all, I want to announce that I was awarded the Tutor of the year of 2009 lately, which made me "really" proud of this. And of course, that is due to my hard working at school and in Learning Enhancement Center in University of La Verne.
Basically, I tutor subjects like Algebra, Statistics, Operation Management, Financial Management, Accounting, Strategic Management, and seldom with Marketing. Amazingly, that is almost everything you'll be probably learned in a MBA course. I know I am not "that" good, but at least I know my value. If you happened to need a tutor in these subjects, I'd be glad to help though!!
Besides this, I also tutor students for C-Set and C-Best. I don't really understand those tests, but I can definitely fix all the algebra problems with ease. While tutoring students here, I really realized my capability of numbers. Maybe I am not that special in my college, but I'm sure that I am "very" special here in the U.S. since I have crazily good sense of numbers... and that's what American people lack of.
Anyhow, I'll bullshit until now... the rest I'll keep murmuring maybe tomorrow~
